When to use Compress PDF by Rasterizing
Create a smaller sharing copy when the source has oversized scans or images. The result shows both source and output size so you can judge the tradeoff.
How to use this tool
- Choose a PDF and save an original copy
- Set resolution and JPEG quality
- Compare size and inspect readability before using the result
Before you use the result
All page content becomes pixels. Selectable text, accessibility tags, links and forms are lost. Small text may blur, and some files become larger rather than smaller.
Open the downloaded file or export before relying on it. Keep the original so you can compare quality, recover data or try different settings. Use only material you have permission to process.
