What this tool helps you check
A canonical link is a hint about a preferred URL for substantially similar content. This checker requests a public page, reads its HTML head and compares the declared canonical with the tested URL after basic normalization. It also reports whether no canonical tag is present.
How to use it

- Inspect the final page and internal links when the canonical points elsewhere
Interpreting the result
A different canonical can be intentional for duplicates. This tool flags a mismatch for review; it cannot decide whether search engines accept the hint or whether two pages really are duplicates.
Limitations and next steps
Does a canonical tag force indexing?|No. It is a signal, not a guarantee of indexing or canonical selection by a search engine.
